Strategy, Program Quality & Impact Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a team responsible for developing and implementing the Chad Strategy, ensuring high‑quality programme design, measurement, and impact on child‑wellbeing outcomes. This role combines strategic oversight with technical guidance to drive effective, evidence‑based interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for programme development and implementation of the Chad Strategy.
• Define and apply technical standards, develop tools for assessment, design, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Roll‑out Adaptive Programme Approach guidance and coordinate support for Integrated Programme Framework and Sponsorship Operational Programme.
• Set realistic monitoring and evaluation targets, report on performance, and use results to improve implementation.
• Ensure robust root‑cause analysis, theory of change, logframes, and M&E plans with core outcome indicators.
• Champion child‑safe organisational practices and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Strengthen accountability to children and communities through the Programme Accountability Framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme development and implementation within a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards, quality assurance processes, and monitoring & evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to lead teams, provide technical oversight, and develop contextualised tools.
• Familiarity with child safeguarding policies and community‑empowering approaches.
