Country Finance Volunteer – N'Djamena

About the role

Acted, a humanitarian and development organisation working in Chad, is recruiting a Country Finance Volunteer for its N'Djamena office. Under the authority of the Country Finance Manager, the volunteer supports the Country Finance Team on the financial internal control of the mission, mainly by reviewing and cross-checking accounting data and the data of financial management and control tools.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to Acted's compliance and accountability.
• Control monthly internal reporting tools, including accounting review, finance follow-up review, cost control and HR follow-up.
• Provide support to the daily tasks of the finance team.

Required profile

• MSc in Finance, Audit, Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
• Finance and accounting skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and manage stress efficiently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Eligibility for an international contract, as the position is classified as an international staff position.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, with mastery of the main database management formulas in Excel.
