Field Coordinator – Chad Program

About the role

The International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) is seeking a national Field Coordinator to support a three‑month assessment mission in Chad. The mission will explore opportunities and challenges for transitional justice, identify technical assistance needs, and formulate recommendations for future engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor field activities for the assessment mission.
• Coordinate logistics, travel, and security arrangements for team members operating in Chad.
• Liaise with local authorities, civil‑society partners, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data.
• Collect, organize, and analyse information on transitional‑justice prospects.
• Prepare interim and final reports, including recommendations for ICTJ’s future work in the country.
• Ensure compliance with ICTJ’s operational guidelines and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Chadian national with the ability to travel within the region and beyond as required.
• Experience in field coordination or project implementation, preferably in humanitarian or justice‑related contexts.
• Ability to work under the supervision of senior program staff and adapt to changing security conditions.
