Logistics Manager – Supply Chain Operations

About the role

The Logistics Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of goods, ensuring that commodities reach beneficiaries efficiently and safely. This short‑term position supports high‑quality programming for vulnerable populations by aligning supply chain activities with program needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program leads to run pipeline analyses and synchronize supply with demand while complying with donor and CRS regulations.
• Determine logistics service requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules; anticipate and resolve supply‑chain disruptions.
• Supervise and develop direct reports, manage team dynamics, and conduct performance reviews.
• Identify and assess transportation resources, storage facilities, leasing options, and maintain relationships with ports, freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers.
• Plan and manage distribution from port of arrival to beneficiary sites, mitigating security risks and ensuring adherence to dispatch plans.
• Prepare accurate product‑movement reports and foster a learning‑oriented environment for staff and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive experience in supply chain or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of international and local inventory accountability standards.
