Stores Executive

About the role

The Stores Executive is responsible for overseeing all store and inventory related activities, ensuring efficient warehouse operations that align with the company’s policies and strategic vision. This role coordinates closely with sales, production, finance, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically manage the warehouse, overseeing distribution, maintenance, and compliance with company policies.
• Administer end‑to‑end supply chain functions, including stores management, inventory control, and purchasing.
• Coordinate stock planning and disbursement with sales and production teams.
• Monitor daily receipt, issue, purchase, and dispatch of materials, ensuring proper tagging and bin allocation.
• Prepare inventory reports for MIS, conduct physical balance verification, and generate monthly stock match status reports.
• Drive incoming material inspection, storage, issue, stock verification, and disposal of surplus or obsolete items.
• Negotiate raw material prices and delivery terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Provide regular status updates to management and liaise with finance, warehousing, and logistics departments.
• Train and educate the team on health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in stores, inventory, or supply chain management.
• Diploma, B.Tech or B.E. in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems for supply chain activities.
• Proven ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams and manage warehouse operations.
