Commercial Project Controller - Finance

About the role

This position is central to ensuring financial accuracy and driving digital innovation within a global healthcare organization. You will automate processes, provide clear financial insights, and support strategic decision‑making to enhance overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Order booking and validation of cost and pricing calculations, including ERP data.
• Oversee strategic project plans, commercial execution, and contract modifications.
• Align with finance teams on performance‑based contracts and manage third‑party financier relationships.
• Execute revenue recognition, perform periodic reconciliations, and manage balance‑sheet positions such as contract assets, liabilities, inventory, and receivables.
• Monitor value flows, ensure quality of books and records, and coordinate handover phases with project managers.
• Analyze invoicing, contractual commitments, penalties, pricing, costs, and margins for contract changes.
• Lead project budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and produce regular business reports.
• Report non‑conformance, conduct risk analysis, and monitor mitigation actions.
• Support accountable management in annual budgeting, consolidate top‑down and bottom‑up plans, and perform actual‑vs‑plan comparisons.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive financial accuracy at complex levels.
• Experience advising management, providing feedback, and recommending actions to improve results.
• Proven ability to develop financial reports, datasets, and dashboards for senior reviews.
• Comfort with autonomy, change‑agent responsibilities, standardisation, and ownership.
