Freight Forwarding Ocean Import Supervisor

About the role

YQN is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Ocean Import Supervisor to ensure smooth and timely processing of ocean import shipments. You will be the key point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal teams, driving efficiency across the import workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth and timely freight process flow for ocean imports.
• Enter accurate data into the operating system and track shipments.
• Utilize process monitors and workflows daily to manage freight movement.
• Prepare and send required customs documentation to customers or brokers.
• Generate accurate client invoices and ensure timely delivery of freight.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, airlines, and trucking companies to exceed service expectations.
• Adhere to compliance regulations and update standard operating procedures.
• Respond promptly to internal and external emails and requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proactive, positive attitude with solid knowledge of import and export.
• Minimum three years of import and export experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Brazil’s import and export policies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
