Investment Officer – Chad

About the role

Inkomoko Chad is seeking an Investment Officer to manage the full loan cycle for entrepreneurs, from initial inquiry through portfolio monitoring. The role combines client outreach, credit appraisal, and ongoing relationship management to support micro‑enterprise growth.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to prospective borrower inquiries and guide them through application for investment products.
• Introduce investment products, explain repayment terms and the responsibilities of debt financing.
• Conduct investment appraisals, collect personal, business and guarantor information, and open new investment accounts.
• Perform due‑diligence activities including site visits, document preparation, and coordination with Business Development Advisors and Business Associates.
• Prepare and communicate credit reports to senior investment staff and ensure accurate posting of entrepreneur stories on the Kiva platform.
• Provide daily customer service through calls, correspondence and site visits to maintain strong borrower relationships.
• Collaborate with the Business Growth Services team to monitor borrower performance and support business success.
• Track delinquency and default rates, aiming to keep them below established targets.
