Commercial Project Analyst - Finance

About the role

This position is central to ensuring financial accuracy and driving digital innovation within a global healthcare organization. The analyst will automate processes, provide clear financial insights, and support strategic decision‑making to enhance overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage order booking and ensure accurate cost and pricing calculations, including ERP integration.
• Oversee strategic project plans, commercial execution, and contract modifications.
• Align with finance teams on performance‑based contracts and manage third‑party financier relationships.
• Execute revenue recognition, perform periodic reconciliations, and manage balance‑sheet positions such as contract assets, liabilities, inventory, and receivables.
• Coordinate handover phases and financial bridges with Project and Engagement Managers.
• Analyze invoicing, contractual commitments, penalties, pricing, costs, and margins for contract changes.
• Lead project budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and mid‑term planning.
• Report on non‑conformance, claims, and risk analysis; monitor mitigation actions and productivity measures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines, support yearly budget planning, and consolidate top‑down and bottom‑up budgets.
• Perform actual‑vs‑plan comparisons, evaluate cost structures, and improve cost accounting systems.
• Provide regular business performance reports and conduct ad‑hoc profitability analyses.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct complex financial analysis and act as an advisor to management.
• Experience developing financial reports, dashboards, and supporting budget cycles.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, standardisation, and ownership.
• Capability to work autonomously, drive change, and manage cross‑functional relationships.
