About the role

This remote QA / Software Engineering Reviewer job is designed for experienced software developers and quality assurance professionals seeking flexible, work‑from‑anywhere contract work. In this contractor role, you will audit and validate browser‑based test suites used to evaluate AI‑generated web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Audit browser‑based test workflows for web applications.
• Verify test setup, fixtures, and execution isolation.
• Ensure assertion logic yields deterministic pass or fail results.
• Detect flaky tests and unhandled external dependencies.
• Deliver structured technical assessments based on defined review rubrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in software engineering, QA engineering, SDET, or test automation.
• Proven track record with web application testing and end‑to‑end test execution.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous debugging capabilities.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work fully flexible, self‑scheduled hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern web browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Expertise in writing automated UI and end‑to‑end test scripts.
• Deep understanding of test isolation, fixture setup, and deterministic test execution.
