Senior International Tax Manager – M&A

About the role

As a Senior International Tax Manager you will be the trusted tax partner for high‑impact M&A transactions, turning complex cross‑border tax questions into clear, decision‑ready insights. You will work closely with senior business leaders to ensure tax risks are understood, opportunities are captured, and the company’s global structure remains compliant and future‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tax workstreams on buy‑side and sell‑side M&A projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct tax due diligence, risk assessments and deal structuring to inform strategic decisions.
• Serve as the single point of contact for tax matters on assigned M&A deals, coordinating internal teams and external advisors.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑closing tax activities, including Day‑1 readiness, integration planning and risk mitigation.
• Support broader tax structuring initiatives that align with Danfoss’ global growth agenda.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in taxation, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Solid experience with international tax issues in complex, cross‑border or transaction‑driven environments.
• Proven ability to drive projects end‑to‑end, manage multiple stakeholders and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of translating complex tax topics into clear recommendations.
• Collaborative and accountable mindset with confidence to act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.
