Chargé(e) d'évaluation senior – N'Djamena, Tchad

About the role

The Senior Evaluation Officer will join the REACH unit of IMPACT Initiatives in N'Djamena, Chad. This six‑month fixed‑term position supports the humanitarian team in assessing needs, analysing situations and providing decision‑making information for emergency, reconstruction and development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate rapid needs assessments and situation analyses in the field.
• Collect, validate and manage data from multiple sources, including satellite imagery.
• Produce concise evaluation reports and visualisations for humanitarian partners.
• Maintain and update REACH databases and GIS platforms.
• Collaborate with REACH analysts, ACTED staff and local stakeholders to ensure data relevance and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in humanitarian needs assessment or evaluation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Chad context and its vulnerability drivers.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and spatial analysis.
