Chargé.e d'évaluation Senior pour le Tchad, basé.e à N'Djamena

About the role

The Senior Evaluation Officer will lead REACH’s evaluation activities in Chad, supporting humanitarian decision‑making in emergency, reconstruction and development contexts. Based in N'Djamena, the role works closely with IMPACT Initiatives and partner NGOs to deliver high‑quality information products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement needs‑assessment and situation‑analysis missions across the country.
• Coordinate the collection, processing and interpretation of satellite imagery for humanitarian mapping.
• Maintain and update databases, GIS layers and mapping tools used by aid actors.
• Produce analytical reports and briefings that inform programme planning and resource allocation.
• Provide technical guidance to REACH field teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in humanitarian evaluation or monitoring.
• Strong understanding of climate‑change and environmental issues in the Sahel region.
• Experience working with international NGOs or UN agencies is preferred.
