Courier Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Courier Operations Coordinator to join the local Operations team at Just Eat Takeaway.com. In this position you will act as the main point of contact for the end‑to‑end courier lifecycle, ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and delivers a high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the standardized courier journey from onboarding to off‑boarding following global frameworks.
• Monitor local fleet capacity and support recruitment plans set by the Head of Operations.
• Track courier KPIs, identify under‑performance and launch improvement plans.
• Collect data and prepare highlights for Monthly Business Reviews.
• Communicate system changes to couriers and resolve first‑level grievances.
• Monitor weather forecasts and relay critical information to Leads and Planners.
• Maintain the Courier Knowledge Base and ensure information is up‑to‑date.
• Supervise couriers and Captains, providing feedback and fostering collaboration.
• Analyse fleet health through Peakon reviews to continuously improve the courier experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating logistics, last‑mile delivery or retail operations.
• Strong data literacy with the ability to work with Excel and performance dashboards.
• Disciplined process mindset, able to follow global standards while adapting to local nuances.
• Basic understanding of local delivery regulations and employment rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a diverse, decentralized workforce.
• Motivated to achieve goals and maintain fleet stability.
