Courier Performance Specialist

About the role

As a Courier Performance Specialist you will act as the operational anchor for the local courier fleet, ensuring smooth execution of the end‑to‑end courier lifecycle. You will work closely with the Operations team to maintain service quality, support fleet health and drive operational stability across the logistics ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the standardized courier journey from onboarding to off‑boarding following global frameworks.
• Monitor local fleet capacity and support recruitment plans defined by the Head of Operations.
• Track courier KPIs, identify under‑performance and initiate improvement actions.
• Collect data and prepare highlights for Monthly Business Reviews.
• Communicate system changes to couriers and resolve first‑level grievances.
• Monitor weather forecasts and relay critical information to Leads and Planners.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date Courier Knowledge Base.
• Supervise couriers and Captains, providing feedback and fostering collaboration.
• Analyse fleet sentiment through Peakon reviews to enhance the courier experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating logistics, last‑mile delivery or retail operations.
• Strong data literacy with the ability to work in Excel and interpret dashboards.
• Disciplined approach to following global standards while adapting to local nuances.
• Basic understanding of local delivery regulations and employment rules.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for a diverse, decentralized workforce.
• Motivation to achieve goals and maintain fleet stability.
