Data Architect Internship (3-6 months)

About the role

The Data Architect Intern will support Avertim’s AI acceleration programme by helping to design and structure the data foundations required for AI use cases and client solutions. Working closely with AI experts and business teams, you will contribute to building scalable, reliable and governance‑compliant data architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in data architecture design and data modelling.
• Perform data audits across business processes.
• Support the design of data pipelines and data flows.
• Analyse data quality, availability and identify gaps.
• Help define data governance frameworks (ownership, access, quality).
• Develop reusable standards, templates and best practices.
• Align data solutions with business needs and collaborate with process owners.
• Prepare clear reports and recommendations for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (ongoing or recent) in Data, IT, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in data, AI and digital transformation.
• Basic knowledge of data modelling, relational databases and data flows.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure Purview, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of GDPR or AI Act is a plus.
