Freelance Fulfulde Transcriptionist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Fulfulde to convert two‑speaker, channel‑separated audio recordings into clean, accurate text. The work is fully remote and paid on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to 2‑speaker Fulfulde audio files and type each utterance verbatim.
• Label each turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2, matching the audio channel.
• Insert timestamps at the start of every speaker turn (HH:MM:SS format).
• Deliver sequential, gap‑free transcripts that meet quality thresholds.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in spoken and written Fulfulde.
• Strong command of Fulfulde spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Ability to work independently and produce at least 4 hours of output per day.
• Access to a computer with stable internet connection.
• Prior transcription experience is a plus; all candidates must pass a qualification test.
