Junior IT Business Analyst – OT Historian Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Business Analyst to join a nine‑person team that delivers operational technology (OT) services through a historian‑based platform. You will support internal energy clients in power generation, trading, facility management and gas storage, helping them extract insights from archived data via web, spreadsheet and external tools.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure servers, data interfaces and client applications for the historian platform.
• Monitor system performance, verify data sources and follow incident‑resolution checklists.
• Provide user assistance for data calculations, analytical functions and tag management.
• Conduct training sessions for end‑users on historian‑based applications.
• Develop and maintain small‑scale web and application solutions using .NET, HTML5 and Python.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic junior professional or student interested in OT and energy data services.
• Ability to work with internal clients and support their analytical needs.
• Willingness to learn and follow structured procedures for incident handling and system monitoring.

Required skills

• Experience or familiarity with AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI historian platforms.
• Data analysis and tag management.
