Management Trainee – Sales (International)

About the role

As a Management Trainee you will join the Sales department of Versele-Laga and support the growth of our most strategic retail partners across international markets. You will work closely with the Global Channel Manager, gaining exposure to daily operations, customer relationships and channel strategy implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Key Account Managers with day‑to‑day contact, order processing and service issue resolution for strategic customers.
• Monitor sales performance, track promotions, support new product listings and prepare sales presentations.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of sales, distribution and market data; create reports and dashboards for management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional information flow between sales, marketing, logistics, finance and customer service.
• Support the Channel Manager in rolling out modern‑trade strategies and optimizing KAM processes across regions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with up to three years of professional experience.
• Leadership experience in campus or student organisations is a plus.
• Growth mindset, resilience and flexibility in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong business acumen and a willingness to learn continuously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in an international context and open to regular travel.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English; German is an asset.
