Project Development Volunteer – N'Djamena

About the role

Acted, a humanitarian and development organisation working in Chad, is recruiting a Project Development Volunteer (PDV) based in N'Djamena. The PDV ensures proper grant management by preparing quality project progress reports in line with donors' rules, coordinates internally with other departments, helps shape the external communication strategy and contributes to fundraising through project proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Grant management: contract follow-up, reporting and partner follow-up
• Internal coordination and communication, and filing
• External communication
• Fundraising: external relations and contribution to proposal development
• Contracting

Required profile

• Master's level education in a relevant field such as International Relations, Development or Political Science
• Previous related work experience, with knowledge of proposal writing and reporting
• Familiarity with the project cycle
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to manage multiple tasks
• Good team spirit and ability to work with diverse profiles
