Seasonal Preschool Teacher

About the role

Cadence Education is looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Preschool Teacher to join its summer program. You will create a warm, engaging classroom where young children feel safe to explore, play, and learn during the seasonal session.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to deliver an age‑appropriate, research‑based curriculum.
• Communicate daily milestones and progress to parents.
• Guide children’s play with toys, language activities, and hands‑on projects while maintaining safety.
• Model kindness and social behaviors to support child development.
• Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes quiet time, active play, indoor/outdoor activities, and fine/gross motor experiences.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and meets state preschool teacher‑assistant requirements.
• High flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
• Preferred experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.
