Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior specialist to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The expert will drive market development, innovation, and investment activities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and develop space and geospatial markets, identifying growth opportunities.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialisation pathways and improve investment readiness of space ventures.
• Facilitate access to finance for startups and established firms in the sector.
• Provide policy and strategic advice to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the EU.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets, including market studies and commercialisation.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Familiarity with African space markets and investment ecosystems is a plus.
