Head Data Architect

About the role

The Head Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of large‑scale, cloud‑native data platforms. This senior position requires deep expertise across multiple cloud providers and a strong background in data engineering, AI/ML pipelines, and platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee enterprise‑wide, multi‑cloud data architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and big‑data solutions using Spark and Hadoop.
• Guide technical teams in containerization, micro‑services, and API‑driven design.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Evaluate third‑party tools and make strategic build‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Ensure architectural integrity, security, and compliance across all data solutions.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in data engineering and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record designing large‑scale, cloud‑native platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP services.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle and data preparation for model training.
• Leadership ability to mentor and direct technical teams.
