Infrastructure Operations Expert

About the role

Nordea’s Group Technology division is looking for an Infrastructure Operations Expert to work closely with infrastructure architects. You will design, implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure components that support the bank’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive automation of environment management with a goal of 100% automation.
• Design and build fault‑tolerant, highly scalable, and easy‑to‑manage solutions.
• Research and recommend innovative approaches for system‑administration tasks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
• Act as the technical lead and go‑to person for infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• Service‑minded, goal‑oriented, self‑driven with a "can‑do" attitude.
• Solid experience with the Oracle stack (Database, WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus).
• Strong Linux administration background.
• Experience managing multi‑server farms and designing network topology, security, performance, and fault‑tolerant architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with application virtualization and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to deploy Java applications and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
