Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our remote employee growth initiatives. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level executives and department heads to identify skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Design engaging training curricula—including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops, and micro‑learning—for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding experience for new hires worldwide.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, ensuring courses are accessible, intuitive, and properly tracked.
• Forecast, monitor, and optimise the annual L&D budget; negotiate contracts with external vendors and content providers.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits, measure ROI, and gather learner feedback to refine programs.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to create leadership development and career‑pathing frameworks that boost internal talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of L&D experience, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed environment.
• Deep knowledge of modern LMS platforms and e‑learning authoring tools.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and evaluate virtual teams.
• Strong grasp of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies, and instructional design principles.
• Excellent written, verbal, and virtual presentation skills.
