Private Sector Engagement Expert – Non-Key Expert

About the role

NTU International seeks a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The expert will help strengthen private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate private‑sector involvement in policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and knowledge exchange.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify commercial opportunities.
• Provide business support, matchmaking and commercialization assistance to companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
• Promote access to finance and investment for space‑related projects.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of activities that boost innovation and sustainable growth in the space sector.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialization and finance access.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, particularly in Africa, is highly relevant.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
