Product Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Support Engineer to join our client’s team and become the primary point of contact for product quality or performance issues that arise in the field. You will work closely with cross‑functional groups to diagnose problems, drive investigations and ensure timely resolutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse and debug product complaints from the field, escalating warranty‑related issues as needed.
• Evaluate production lines to identify root causes and recurring patterns.
• Collaborate with suppliers when issues stem from third‑party components.
• Lead cross‑functional investigations and decide whether internal testing is sufficient or advanced escalation is required.
• Assemble and coordinate design, development, testing and production teams to drive timely resolutions.
• Act as liaison between all involved departments, ensuring rapid response and solution implementation.
• Prepare concise one‑page summaries of issues, investigation steps and outcomes for future reference.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all actions and decisions in Jira or equivalent systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a hands‑on mindset.
• Proven leadership experience coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in fast‑paced, reactive environments.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticket‑management tools.
• Excellent communication skills to drive accountability across teams.
