RAM Director

About the role

The RAM Director leads World Vision Chad’s Resource Development Unit, driving the growth and diversification of grant income across bilateral, multilateral, foundation and non‑food item streams. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures effective donor engagement, strategic alignment with the national plan and compliance with global fragile‑context guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the national grants acquisition and management strategy in line with the organisation’s business plan and OP2030 goals.
• Lead donor research, identification, pre‑positioning meetings and relationship management to expand the grant pipeline.
• Oversee proposal development, grant performance monitoring and issue resolution across public and private funding streams.
• Collaborate with regional, support office and global teams to ensure a healthy pipeline and meet programming needs.
• Build capacity within the national office for grant acquisition, management and reporting, aligned with the Global Fragile Context Initiative.
• Track and report on annual grant income targets, achievements and performance against the business plan.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in grant acquisition, management and donor relations, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of fragile‑context funding mechanisms and global donor landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, set targets and monitor results.
• Excellent communication skills to convey impact and maintain strong partnerships with donors, partners and internal teams.
• Commitment to World Vision’s mission, values and Christian faith.
