Resource Acquisition and Management Director

About the role

The Resource Acquisition and Management Director will lead World Vision Chad’s Resource Development Unit. This senior position is responsible for growing and diversifying grant income, ensuring effective donor engagement, and strengthening the organization’s capacity to manage grants in a fragile context.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and diversification of grant income (bilateral, multilateral, foundations, GIK non‑food items) in line with the National Office Resource Development Strategy.
• Maintain productive relationships with public and private grant donors, ensuring successful implementation and clear communication of impact.
• Coordinate with national, regional, support office, and global teams to build a healthy grant pipeline that meets programming needs.
• Develop the capacity of World Vision Chad in grant and PNS acquisition and management, aligning with the global Fragile Context Initiative and GAM strategic priorities.
• Uphold World Vision’s mission, core values, and spiritual standards as a role model for staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant acquisition, donor relations, and resource development, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong understanding of grant management processes and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across multiple organizational levels.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and ethical standards.
