Senior Rust Developer – Core Tech

About the role

SASHA is looking for a senior Rust developer to join its Core Tech team and help scale the engine behind its image and video protection technology. You will work across the entire codebase, from pipelines and ML inference to cross‑platform bindings and performance tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Scale and optimise the engine that powers SASHA’s media protection platform.
• Develop and maintain image and video processing pipelines.
• Implement ML inference using ONNX and integrate it with Rust code.
• Build and maintain cross‑platform bindings and mobile SDKs.
• Perform performance tuning, memory management and concurrency optimisation.
• Contribute to tooling that ships the entire stack.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with Rust, preferably in the async ecosystem.
• Strong systems fundamentals: performance, memory, concurrency, and cross‑platform builds.
• Ability to take ownership of unfamiliar problems and work across the stack.
• Higher education in computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable working in a small, fast‑changing team and communicating clearly.
