About the role

This part‑time position involves engaging customers at the Mitsui Outlet store, demonstrating products, and driving sales through up‑selling and cross‑selling. The role requires maintaining visual standards, handling transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate and explain products to persuade purchases.
• Identify interested customers and provide brand and product information.
• Articulate promotions and incentives to encourage buying.
• Achieve personal sales targets and perform up‑sell/cross‑sell when possible.
• Process sales using the point‑of‑sale system and keep accurate records.
• Replenish shelves, follow visual merchandising guidelines, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Educated to SPM level.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations and footwear industry.
• Understanding of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience operating a point‑of‑sale/cashiering system.
