Advocacy & Communications Manager (Chad)

About the role

The Advocacy and Communications Manager will play a pivotal dual role in advancing Inkomoko’s mission in Chad. Splitting time between advocacy (60%) and communications (40%), the role bridges policy influence with national visibility, translating on‑the‑ground successes into compelling public narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of the country advocacy strategy, ensuring evidence‑driven implementation that influences policy outcomes.
• Track and analyse regulatory and policy developments affecting refugee and host‑community MSMEs.
• Manage high‑level stakeholder relationships and represent Inkomoko in policy discussions.
• Design and implement advocacy initiatives that expand economic opportunities for MSMEs.
• Translate programme achievements into media‑ready stories, press releases, and public campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director, Regional Director of Advocacy, and Regional Communications Team to align messaging with global brand and risk frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advocacy, public policy or communications within development or NGO settings.
• Strong understanding of refugee‑host community economic dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and regional teams.
