Financial Controller

About the role

United Fintech is seeking an early‑career Financial Controller who wants to move beyond traditional finance and work daily with AI‑driven tools. You will own financial reporting, controls, and process optimisation while helping shape an AI‑first reporting framework for a fast‑growing fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, consolidate and analyse Group and subsidiary financial results using AI‑assisted variance analysis.
• Support and continuously improve the end‑to‑end record‑to‑report process, leveraging automation and AI tooling.
• Drive the monthly closing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate interim and annual reporting.
• Monitor and manage work performed by outsourcing partners.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports and AI‑generated insights to senior management and the board.
• Participate in the assessment, expansion and integration of outsourcing partners.
• Help design and potentially roll out a new AI‑driven ERP platform.

Required profile

• Early‑career finance professional with a strong interest in AI and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an international, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to take ownership of financial reporting and control processes.

Required skills

• Experience with financial reporting, consolidation and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled automation tools or platforms (e.g., AI‑assisted analytics).
• Understanding of internal control frameworks and compliance requirements.
