About the role
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all Food and Beverage outlets to ensure an excellent guest and member experience. This role includes training staff, managing budgets, and maintaining brand standards within a Hilton property.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of all Food and Beverage outlets.
- Maintain exceptional customer service levels.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop the Food and Beverage team.
- Handle guest queries promptly and efficiently.
- Control food, liquor, and payroll costs within budget.
- Set departmental targets, schedules, budgets, and policies.
- Collaborate on menu development with the team.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and incentivise sales.
- Perform annual and mid‑year appraisals for managers.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead communication meetings and produce minutes.
- Support other departments and uphold health, safety, and security regulations.
Required profile
- Proven management or supervisory experience in Food and Beverage.
- Ability to meet financial targets and work under pressure.
- Strong adherence to brand standards and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent grooming and professional presentation.
- Willingness to develop team members and adapt to varied situations.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
