Pharmaceutical Lab Technician (Overnight Shift)

About the role

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Pharmaceutical Lab Technician and support the world’s largest PET radiopharmaceutical network. This primarily overnight position involves the synthesis, quality control, packaging, and logistics of radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging and therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems such as cyclotrons for routine manufacturing and quality control.
• Prepare products for shipment, coordinate courier logistics, and provide customer support.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical analytical equipment.
• Maintain aseptic cleanroom environments and conduct regular environmental monitoring.
• Document manufacturing, quality control, maintenance activities, deviations, and out‑of‑specification events.
• Assist with laboratory inventory management, housekeeping, and adherence to safety and regulatory protocols for radioactive materials.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training or certification may be required.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and rotate to alternative shifts as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced laboratory environment and lift up to 100 lb.

Required skills

• Operation of HPLC, GC, TLC instruments.
• Experience with cyclotron systems.
• Preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Cleanroom and aseptic technique proficiency.
• Environmental monitoring procedures.
