Senior Program Manager – Strategic Operations

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Senior Program Manager to provide strategic leadership and management support to its operations team in Chad. The role focuses on delivering high‑impact programmes that improve child well‑being while meeting donor expectations and national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, review and monitoring of national strategies, annual plans and emergency programmes.
• Oversee program and budget planning, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s strategic priorities.
• Identify and develop new ADPs, sector initiatives, advocacy and HEA programmes, including proposal writing and donor negotiations.
• Manage grant acquisition, resource allocation and compliance with ministry standards.
• Build capacity of direct reports through coaching, supervision and spiritual formation.
• Represent World Vision to donors, partners and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in programme management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and drive results.
• Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and child‑focused mission.
