Social Media Analyst

About the role

Cronos Europa is seeking a Social Media Analyst to support digital communication activities for European Institutions. You will help shape citizen engagement across social platforms by creating content, managing communities, and delivering data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, produce, distribute and analyse digital communication campaigns targeting citizens.
• Act as platform lead for X and support emerging platforms.
• Create, edit and adapt content, including copywriting, proofreading and translation.
• Monitor and moderate social media interactions in line with guidelines.
• Engage with citizens and manage online communities.
• Track posts, hashtags, mentions and discussions.
• Analyse trends, narratives and performance data, producing reports and actionable insights.
• Advise stakeholders on social media best practices and provide training.
• Contribute to content planning and communication strategies, ensuring consistency and localisation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in social media management, digital communication or content creation.
• Experience in community management and online moderation.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools for social media performance.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
