National Director – Chad

About the role

World Vision Chad is seeking a visionary leader to head its national office. The National Director will steer strategy, operations, and partnership engagement to improve the lives of vulnerable children across Chad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the country strategy in line with World Vision’s global framework and Chad’s government priorities.
• Oversee sponsorship, PNS, and humanitarian response programmes, ensuring accountability and impact.
• Build and maintain high‑performing leadership teams and foster effective internal coordination.
• Develop and nurture relationships with government agencies, donors, and World Vision support offices to secure sustainable funding.
• Represent World Vision Chad within the International Partnership, contributing to shared accountability and partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience managing complex country offices (200+ staff, budgets > USD 10 million).
• At least 8 years of experience in grant acquisition and donor management for large‑scale programmes.
• Master’s degree in development studies, international development, management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams in fragile, politically sensitive environments.
